Job description

• Defining and executing the category purchasing strategy in line with BSH’s global strategy, market trends and internal stakeholder needs (R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Production)
• Full end‑to‑end responsibility for category performance, including TCO, supply risks and strategic sourcing decisions
• Supplier market analysis, sourcing and development, with a strong focus on Eastern Europe
• Independent execution of RFQ/RFP processes and negotiation of contracts and commercial terms with key suppliers
• Proactive delivery of cost reduction initiatives and purchasing optimizations
• Making and defending challenging business decisions under cost pressure and incomplete data

Requirements

We are looking for a senior, business‑driven professional who:

• Has minimum 5 years of experience in direct / production purchasing in an international environment
• Demonstrates strong business orientation and full ownership for cost, risk and supply continuity
• Shows decision‑making maturity and confidence under pressure
• Works with a fact‑based, analytical mindset, using data, benchmarks and TCO
• Displays high assertiveness and negotiation confidence with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Holds a university degree (technical or business), driving license (B) and willingness to travel occasionally. Is fluent in English and comfortable with analyses, reports and presentations
