Opis stanowiska
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Understand transformer requirement specifications and design documentation. Evaluate design proposals, whether they meet specifications without being over dimensioned.
• Understand design trade-offs and their direct influences on cost, size, and efficiency.
• Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) effectively.
• Assess manufacturing operations and identify potential risks and improvement areas. Assure the quality and reliability of ABB transformers.
• Evaluate production control plans including inspection points, control checklists, process documentation.
• Evaluate testing methods and result documentation.
• Support root-cause analyses in case of failures and evaluate corrective actions and improvement plans.
• Work closely with ABB suppliers to conduct process audits and product qualifications.
Wymagania
- M.Sc. in electrical engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an electrical engineer, including at least 2 years in the field of medium-voltage transformer design and/or manufacturing.
- Very good command of English, enabling fluent communication.
- Ability to work in a team, collaborate, and share knowledge with others, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in an international environment and coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset and well-versed in the application of the scientific method.
