Opis stanowiska

  • Assess the condition of rotating machines (motors and generators), focusing on stator winding insulation health, and provide maintenance recommendations.
  • Process LEAP data from AC and DC measurements using ABB tools, interpret results, and diagnose equipment condition.
  • Create comprehensive reports and offer practical remedial recommendations.
  • Provide insulation maintenance support to field service engineers globally within ABB.
  • Present reports, case studies, and success stories as needed.
  • Participate in automating routine analysis, research insulation material issues, and contribute to technical meetings and know-how accumulation. Provide feedback to factories on product and process issues, and foster a positive team spirit.
  • Apply safety and environmental practices, and report unsafe practices and incidents.

Wymagania

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in electrical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering or High voltage/power engineering.
  • 3-5 years in diagnosing and servicing electrical motors and generators.
  • Understanding of HV electrical machine construction, insulation systems, and repair techniques.
  • Strong customer-focused attitude and effective communication skills, including good English proficiency.
  • Quick learner with the ability to recognize recurring fault patterns and think systemically.
  • Background in field service, insulation testing, and electrical test measurement analysis; experience with motor and generator repairs is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of insulation system behavior, data analysis tools, and the product/process portfolio of Motion, Smart Solutions.
  • Familiarity with ABB health and safety procedures, and the ability to work flexibly in a team environment.
