Opis stanowiska

In this position, you will contribute to creation of Product Group-wide initiatives and projects and direct the implementation of those to improve customer loyalty, increase profitability, cash efficiency and to support business growth. Furthermore, you will represent the customer requirements inside the organization in terms of quality and reliability as well as APQP.

You will report to the Global Product Group Manager.

***The ideal candidate is located in Finland, Switzerland, Estonia or Poland.***

Willingness to travel is required (around 30%).

Your responsibilities

  • Develops and deploys Global Product Group wide initiatives and projects, in line with agreed Group Q&OpEx strategy, for improving customer loyalty whilst increasing profitability and cash efficiency by engaging with the Business Unit and Functional Q&OpEx leaders to secure full engagement and buy-in of the business.
  • Develops and deploys widespread continual improvement skills to create a capable systematic problem-solving culture at all levels in the organization.
  • Defines and assures delivery of key improvement projects, through the Local Business Units/Product Groups, to directly contribute towards achievement of the Global Product Group and Customers Q&OpEx targets.
  • Organizes cross Business Unit/Product Group/Local Business Unit teams for global best practices and problem solving, to ensure efficient utilization of global know-how.
  • Shares accountability with the Global Product Group management team for delivery of overall Global Product Group objectives and targets. Implements and follows-up on global quality metrics, field failure analysis and customer quality claims.
  • Coordinates, approves, and supports on 8D reports, customer litigations and develops field quality improvements and R&D guidelines.
  • Defines new initiatives to improve the product quality, process quality and field performance.
  • Guides, teaches and contributes to the APQP with customers and represents the global product group quality management towards the customer.
  • Promotes Safety (LTIFR), Customer (NPS) and Shareholder (OPQ) requirements and feedback as key drivers for all improvement activity.
  • Ensures, with support of HR, that the Global Q&OpEx team, is sustainably staffed, developed and directed to enable effective leadership, support and coaching on improvement projects and to provide a career development path for future operational leaders.

Wymagania

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in large global / regional business environment, preferably in the Electrical Machinery and Equipment, Automotive, Power Electronics or Renewables industries.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Automotive quality and/or APQP experience required.
  • Good understanding of Electronics and Power Electronics.
  • Strong quality passion and customer collaboration is a must.
  • Strong technical knowledge in semiconductors operation, capacitors and heat dissipation are required.
  • Solid quality leadership experience in product, process and field quality improvements.
  • Strong business acumen and a broad industrial market / customer appreciation to enable outside in thinking and acting.
  • Track record of execution and delivering results in international environment.
  • Recognized as great team player and appreciated for Leadership, excellent collaboration, communication and business partnering skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30% is required, relocation willingness in Europe is a plus.
  • Fluent in English language skills, Finnish, Spanish, German would be an advantage.
