Opis stanowiska

The Finance Business Partner (BP) Manager role for Group Finance, HR & IM (Information Management) is an essential member of the Finance organization at Barry Callebaut Group and the main Finance interface for Group Finance, HR and IM functions with a total annual OPEX + CAPEX budget of ~130mCHF. Additionally, the Finance BP role oversees the Corporate division (~100mCHF costs annually) as a whole and the legal entity that is mostly dedicated to Corporate activities.

This role supports the functions in scope by performing activities related to financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and strategy. The Finance BP proactively provides business insights to the key stakeholders by generating timely and accurate financial analysis and recommendations to drive business decisions. This role also contributes to business initiatives aimed at improving operational and financial performance and reporting clarity/ consistency.

The role reports into VP Group FP&A and is supported by a dedicated FP&A person (dotted line). 

The key stakeholders of this role include: Group’s CEO & CFO, Group’s Chief HR Officer (CHRO), Group’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), the direct reports of the Group’s CFO, CHRO, CIO, Regional Finance teams

About the role:

  • Partner with the CFO, CIO, CHRO and VPs to develop and implement strategies to further accelerate profitable growth and ensure cost leadership
  • Develop and maintain financial reports and analysis to track and improve the financial performance of the Functions
  • Support month-end close process by providing detailed and timely variance analysis
  • Contribute to and support the annual budget cycle and mid-term planning processes
  • Participate in regular performance reviews with the top management and assist in preparing Board and Management presentations
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis requested by the CFO/ CHRO/ CIO/ VPs
  • Review business cases for IM/IT projects, incl. guiding the respective teams on how to prepare the business cases
  • Implement best practices, continuous improvement, standardization/ simplification of reporting etc.
  • Actively contribute to projects such as Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) roll-out

Wymagania

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance
  • Degree in Finance/ Economics or business administration 
  • Experience in a multinational company, preferably in B2B/ food industry
  • Strong understanding of P&L
  • Strong knowledge of controlling and financial methodologies and reporting
  • Good understanding of Accounting processes and standards (IFRS)
  • Leadership skills in managing people in an international environment and building effective teams
  • Strategic mindset/ ability to manage complexity
  • Effectively manage and influence stakeholders on all levels of the organization
  • Analytical / hands-on/ flexible/ solutions oriented
  • English business proficiency (written and spoken)
