Opis stanowiska

A person in this position will be responsible for coordinating the overall implementation of the Barry Callebaut Operating System to support the business to deliver expected results. The role entails supporting leaders and core teams towards the creation of a high-performing working organization and delivery of End to End SC capabilities so that BC becomes a World Class Supply Chain Company. 
The regional supply chain excellence manager leads the definition, development, and deployment of best-in-class supply chain processes. He/she sets up SC standards, governance, and policies in order to improve Supply Chain maturity and performance E2E and across the countries. He/she will identify improvement areas, support decision-making, and ensure full adoption of the new processes in the regions via active change management. He/she works on continuous improvements and regional or global OSCO projects Together with Global, Regional and Local Supply Chain and Operations teams. 
The role will have high visibility and impact across the EMEA community; balances functional, technical, and interpersonal experiences & challenges, and offers a great career path. All SC processes across all EMEA entities 26 production sites, +20 warehouses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of a Zero losses culture enhancing people's capability for losses eradication via CI across the supply chain
  • Deploy standard processes, best practices, organization, and tools within the region
  • Test and learn new practices with internal and external collaborations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other excellence profiles to ensure consistency and end-to-end alignment
  • Implement standard KPI’s. 
  • Assess the maturity of entities and propose improvement action plans
  • Develop training materials for the different processes and principles, as well as other training materials as necessary, and deploy training programs in the region   
  • Steer the transformation of entities in the region and countries. Monitor activity level of continuous improvement teams and team champions; alert management of additional support needed to achieve desired results.
  • Propose priorities and arbitration for improvement or transformation projects
  • Support regional and country teams in the elaboration of continuous improvement plans
  • Create a strategy, deploy and support a great execution via coaching/execution of BC work processes
  • Regular coaching to planning & logistics experts to make programs within expected progress. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements, guaranteeing full program alignment and activities oriented to deliver the goals
  • Support Regional and Country Productivity agenda, leverage external resources to help on target delivery as necessary
  • Support the Adoption of digital solutions, make sure technology and new ways of working are incorporated into team routines, and participate in the development and continuous improvement of digital solutions/interfaces with a full focus on users experience
  • Coordinate the KPIs performance review, guaranteeing root cause analysis for those out of target and the implementation of operational excellence process to sustain the results
  • Coordinate with Planning & Logistics experts on operational work processes, provide coaching on a daily basis, drive regular meetings to guarantee alignments, best practices sharing, consistency in the implementation across site, and keep regional/global network alive

Wymagania

  • Higher education, preferably in Logistics, Management, or relevant
  • FMCG and/or B2B industry experience (+10 years)
  • Operational management / execution experience (having owned supply chain service & cost results)
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in transformation & change management
  • Natural facilitator & coach
  • APICS certification will be an asset
  • Very good knowledge of the English language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to drive change and to deal with different layers in the organization, internal and external
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across key stakeholders, including executive level
  • Coming up with solutions and making pragmatic decisions
  • Key player in the E2E Supply chain landscape. 
  • Travel requirements: Frequent travel (weekly) across all EMEA sites will be required, GEMBA and being close to the challenge will be key
