We are looking for an R&D Quality and Reliability Specialist at ABB Motion, System Drives division.
In this role you will be responsible for quality and reliability in various medium voltage power converter product R&D projects.
ABB System Drives products provide performance and reliability to our customers in mission critical application in areas such as process industries, infrastructure, transportation, and renewable energy.
Your responsibilities
- Quality and reliability related planning and documentation
- Collecting feedback from reference products
- Defining quality and reliability related requirements
- Creating project Q&R test plans
- Coordination of reliability testing and test plan follow-up
- Reviewing test reports and analyzing test results
Wymagania
Your background
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, power electronics or related field
- Understanding of failure mechanisms in power converters, electronics and power electronics
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
- Ability to cooperate effectively with multiple different stakeholders
- Ability to use statistical tools for reliability analysis
- Hands on experience in electronics and frequency converters is a benefit
