Opis stanowiska
This position requiries taking full responsibility for professional field and office engineering work related to planning and implementation of capital investment projects in scope of building construction as well as its infrastructure and utilities (specification, design/layout, schedule and budget) and daily departmental operations, including preparation of estimations and reports. Manages engineering projects in scope of B&U and takes full responsibility for its implementation.
What will you do - Responsibilities:
- Serves as project engineer for routine and complex projects including defining projects scope, selecting consultants. Keeps the deadlines; makes amendments; monitors, reviews and coordinates B&U related projects; monitors contractors' work and deadlines; coordinates participation of other units in the projects under his supervision
- Develops specifications, estimations and reports specifying construction materials and utilities equipment for buildings; develops engineering reports (i.e. status updates). Develops Business Approval Proposals (BAP) and Post Implementations Assessment reports (PIA). Provides engineering expertise reports
- Participates in the process of drawing up, negotiating and managing contracts and projects. Develops Requests for Quotation and puts the project out for tender, evaluates bids and recommend contractors
- Provides technical advice to contractors, colleagues and othe professionals regarding Company policies and procedures, legal regulations; assists in solving technical issues
- Provides investment proposals in scope of B&U area in cooperation with other departments and engineers; participates in Annual Strategy Planning (ASP) being responsible for preparation of valid Capex/Opex figures among planned project portfolio
- Performs validation of projects budgets (Capex and Opex) for monthly reporting (checking of budget increase/decrease, delays, scope changes, etc.)
- Assures accuracy of implementations according to overall Capex/Opex plan and factory commitments
Wymagania
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
- Master degree in engineering (machine mechanics, industrial automation, civils engineering)
- 3+ years of professional experience in a similar managerial position or in civils project management
- Knowledge of building construction principles and related processes of permitting is required
- Experience in renevable energy projects will be an advantage
- Knowledge of various utilities systems e.g.: HVAC, Compressed Air, Vacuum, Dedusting system, Fire protection systems, Steam and water boilers, etc.
- English language for effective verbal and written communication
- PC literacy (MS Office; MS Project; SAP; AutoCad; Inventor)
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent in communication & negotiation skills
- Very good organizational and planning skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
