Opis stanowiska
We are looking for a motivated team player for the field of vehicle control technology within the ABB Traction Division in Poland. If you enjoy realizing rail retrofit projects from analysis to implementation and commissioning on the vehicle, then this is your challenge as Vehicle control specialist for rail retrofit applications.
Your responsibilities
- Secure proper communication with an existing vehicle bus (MVB, CAN,…)
- Document the different protocols (architecture, configuration, data, tasks, etc.)
- Define tools required for investigation of existing vehicle bus
- Define processes to be followed
- Develop gateways between existing vehicle control (TCMS) solutions and ABB converter controllers
Wymagania
Your background
- Bachelor or master in electrical engineering or computer science
- Strong background in software and communication protocols (MVB, CAN mainly)
- Rail vehicle and vehicle control knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge standards IEC 61131-3, EN50128 and EN50657 is a plus
- Ability to efficiently solve technical challenges
- Open mind and willingness to learn
- ‘Detective’ attitude
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- MS Office (Word, Excel) skills
- Committed and communicative team player with structured work style and willingness to travel for international business trips
