Opis stanowiska
We are looking for a motivated team player for the field of traction converters control within the ABB Traction Division in Poland. If you enjoy realizing rail vehicle projects from analysis to implementation and commissioning on the vehicle, then this is your challenge as Control software development specialist for Traction converters.
Your responsibilities
- Development of high level (application level) control software for traction converters (propulsion converters, auxiliary converters) in railway applications
- Lead technical discussions with our customers on control software related topics
- Specification and execution of required software tests including test on a real time simulators (RTS, HIL)
- Preparation of required documentation
- Support of laboratory test of new traction converters
- Participation in the traction converter commissioning activities at customer site
- Support for sales team during tender phase of the project
Wymagania
Your background
- Bachelor or master in electrical engineering or computer science
- Solid background in high level control of power electronic converters
- Good understanding of power electronic converters operation principles
- Knowledge of Codesys environment is a plus
- Rail vehicle and vehicle control knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge standards IEC 61131-3, EN50128 and EN50657 is a plus
- Ability to efficiently solve technical challenges
- Open mind and willingness to learn
- Good time management, ability to prioritize and plan own work activities / tasks
- Cat. B driving license
- Good spoken and written English language skills
- MS Office (Word, Excel) skills
- Committed and communicative team player with structured work style and willingness to travel for international business trips
