Opis stanowiska

We are currently seeking Statutory Compliance Specialist who will join ABB Center of Excellence within Statutory Compliance Services team. The person will work independently with less complex entities and support Statutory Controllers to ensure that the Financial Statements are prepared with high quality, statutory audit is completed within the predetermined timeframe and filing is executed within the regulatory deadline. This person will be also responsible for performing analysis and reports for Statutory process based on ABB Stat tracking tool.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Performing analysis and reports for Statutory process’ obligations and timelines based on the ABB tracking tool; cooperation with technical team in respect of fixing ineffectiveness of the tool and propose improvements
  • Coordination of statutory audit process for less complex entities and support of Statutory Controllers with more complex accounting and audit related activities
  • Help in reconciliation between local GAAP and US GAAP; validation that all documents have been posted to local ledger
  • Preparation of intercompany reconciliations for legal entities
  • Performing Statutory Account reconciliation
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks linked to Statutory compliance

Wymagania

Your background

  • At least 2 years of experience in audit department or 3-4 years’ experience in finance / accounting function ( ideally in GL, R2R or Statutory department)
  • Analytical skills, fluent knowledge of excel
  • Fluent in English
  • Energetic and open-minded personality
  • Knowledge of SAP system would be an asset
  • Bachelor / Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar will be an asset
  • Good accounting background and understanding of audit procedures will be an asset
