Opis stanowiska

As a Service support specialist provides technical assistance to internal and external customers. He/she ensures timely and cost-effective support in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Remote contracts: Work directly with customers to fulfill service contracts. Main contact towards customer, own end-to-end process for service contract. From connecting the drive, to supporting customer on urgent basis and periodical reports and recommendations to customer
  • Service Delivery: Prioritize, classify, answer and close support cases coming from local ABB or end customers with service contracts. Focus is to solve medium voltage drives cases. But also other cases should be handled
  • Coordinate case escalation to factories (retrieve all info and summarize case history)
  • Continuous improvement:Regular technical meetings with factories to get to know people and processes
  • Know-how accumulation, by writing FAQ for common issues by holding presentations during Service Expert Days
  • Creation and maintenance of Drive Startup packages
  • Create and develop good team spirit
  • Health and Safety: Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities

Wymagania

Your background

  • Technical Diploma or Bachelor Degree in engineering field
  • 3-5 years’ experience as service specialist
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and within ABB, including good English skills
  • Quick learner, to recognize re-occurring fault patterns, thinking and acting systemically
  • Technical know-how of Medium voltage drives
  • Able to be flexible and work in a team environment
