In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work in the team of experts, where you will learn all about the taxes. You will support EMEA Indirect Tax Team in basic daily tasks like VAT activities
What is Indirect Tax Department?
The Indirect Tax Team is a part of Philips Finance. We are the team of independent subject matter experts who through the strategic approach develop and apply Philips policies and procedures to manage the Indirect Tax area and compliance processes within the organization for the EMEA region.
You are responsible for
- Supporting EMEA Indirect Team in daily operations
- VAT determination for purchase invoices (VAT coding)
- Preparation and extraction of VAT related analysis and reports
- Tax researches
- Preparing templates and calculations
- Ad-hoc activities connected with VAT matters
Wymagania
- Student of at least 2nd year of Bachelor Degree studies (ideally background Finance, Tax, Law etc.)
- Fluent English (at least B2)
- Finance understanding or an interest in tax area would be a great plus
- MS Office applications, including Excel intermediate knowledge
- Analytical mind with an eye for detail
