Working with Motion, you will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers. He/she ensures timely and cost effective support in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.

Your responsibilities

  • Remote contracts: Work directly with customers to fulfill service contracts. Main contact towards customer, own end to end process for service contract. From connecting the drive, to supporting customer on urgent basis and periodical reports and recommendations to customer
  • Monitoring customer assets (mainly drives but also motors if needed) connected to cloud. Based on gathered data providing customers information how they can improve working conditions, prevent failures, also assist in diagnosing issues
  • Service Delivery: Monitoring customer assets (mainly drives but also motors if needed) according to schedule. Providing advices and reports to customers based on monitoring results, data in databases and data provided by local service units
  • Coordinate case escalation to drive and motor experts (retrieve all info and summarize case history)
  • Continuous improvement: Regular technical meetings with factories to get to know people and processes
  • Know how accumulation, by writing FAQ for common issues
  • Actively support global motion support center and local ABB to gain skills and know how, for example by holding presentations during Service Expert Days
  • Feedback to factories on product and process issues
  • Create and develop good team spirit
  • Health and Safety: Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities
  • Report unsafe practices and incidents

Wymagania

  • Technical Diploma or Bachelor Degree in engineering field and minimum 3 to 5 years experience as service specialist
  • Know how on product and process portfolio of ABB Motion, both LV and MV drives an advantage
  • Knowledge of Service offering
  • Technical know how of drives
  • Knowledge of ABB health and safety operating procedures
  • Able to be flexible and work in a team environment
  • Customer focused attitude
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers and within ABB, including good English skills
  • Quick learner, to recognize re-occurring fault patterns, thinking and acting systemically
