The Internship Program Mission:
The Global Information Systems (GIS) organization leads Whirlpool Corporation’s IT strategy, providing business applications and infrastructure capabilities on a global basis and driving value through simplification, stability, and predictability in everything we do.
Our Information Technology Internship Program aims to create a pipeline of young talent within the GIS function.
The program offers students and fresh graduates an opportunity to gain on-the-job practical workplace experience while providing on-going support, training and exposure to different IT domains.
As Information Technology Intern you'll contribute to the development of the IT strategic technology direction, to the delivery and support of solutions both technical and process-related.
During your experience, you will gain exposure in at least two the following areas:
- Cloud Architecture
- Digital, Marketing, e-commerce
- IoT
- Consumer Relationship Management and Services
- Cyber Security
- Data & Analytics
- Industry 4.0
- Sales and Operational Planning
