To support our Group Finance Project Manager out of Shared Service Center in Lodz, Poland we are looking for a highly motivated professional as: Finance Project Coordinator

 

Summary:

The Finance Project Coordinator supports global transformation projects as well as other key initiatives for Group Finance (i.e., Group Accounting and Group FP&A). This role acts as the key interface and node between the Consolidation and Reporting Team Lead (SSC), Finance Transformation Project Managers, as well as various Group Finance subject matter experts. The Finance Project Coordinator performs project execution globally in alignment with Group Finance strategies and objectives. This role ensures alignment with Group Finance’s strategies and objectives by implementing opportunities to maximize performance, effectively manage risks, promote best practices, as well as enforce policies / standards. The Finance Project Coordinator supports the development of governance frameworks and the underlying documentation for implemented solutions. This role equally supports the education and training of Group Finance employees on new solutions as well as promotion of Group Finance expertise. The Finance Project Coordinator gets guidance and support from Finance Transformation Project Managers on complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of duties.

 

 

 

Accountabilities:

  • Support on developing and implementing value-adding processes and systems for Group Finance
  • Support on coordinating and managing the transition of accounting and financial reporting activities
  • Support on establishing robust backup structures and teams for accounting and financial reporting
  • Safeguard roles, responsibilities, and governance frameworks for Group Finance teams and processes
  • Support on establishing and managing power user communities for accounting and financial reporting
  • Support on developing governance frameworks for processes including the underlying documentation
  • Support on educating internal stakeholders on newly implemented solutions
  • Prepare and implement automation efforts
  • Support on developing internal control systems related to accounting
  • Coordinate and oversee key projects within the Finance Shared Services Center

Wymagania

Skills:

Essential Knowledge:

  • SAP
  • Finance Consolidation System (preferably BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation)
  • Solid understanding of Finance Processes
  • Good knowledge of financial accounting processes and controls

 

Qualifications: 

  • University degree in economics, finance or business administration or similar educational background
  • Experience of minimum 3 years in the field of finance/accounting or related
  • Experience of minimum 3 years in Project Management

 

Competencies:

  • Very high IT affinity
  • Very good analytical, conceptual and connective cogitation and a hands-on and detail-conscious work style
  • Ability to prioritize and re-evaluate priorities as situations change.
  • Focus on gathering and reporting information, delivering output, controlling and auditing the working of systems
  • Strong communication skills paired with a good level of customer focus ensure the capability of working amicably with people of various nationalities and to optimally serve our internal customer base, which typically consists of managers on all levels of hierarchy.
  • Ability to work reliably and independently also under deadline pressure.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is indispensable and additional languages like German, French or other languages would be an advantage.
