Opis stanowiska

  • conducting the yearly inspection of working conditions and conformity with the occupational safety and health regulations and rules,
  • preparing yearly reports and analyses of occupational safety and health conditions, including the suggestions for technical and organisational solutions to prevent risks to life and health and to improve the working conditions,
  • notifying regularly on any hazards at work, along with conclusions concerning the elimination of such hazards,
  • submitting proposals concerning the occupational safety and health requirements in used and newly implemented working procedures,
  • presenting proposals concerning workstation ergonomy,
  • participation in determining the circumstances and causes of accidents at work and in drawing up conclusions after investigation of the causes and circumstances of such accidents and cases of occupational diseases, controlling the implementation of such conclusions,
  • consulting in the field of occupational safety and health regulations,
  • participation in occupational risk assessment, in relation with the performed work,
  • advice concerning the organisation and methods of work, for workstations where hazardous or harmful factors, or difficult conditions occur, selection of most appropriate measures of group and personal protection,
  • providing general instruction, 
  • organising appropriate periodic training in occupational safety and health, and in particular, assessing the preparing the programmes of courses held by training units, 
  • cooperation with laboratory personnel authorised on the grounds of separate regulations to conduct testing and measurement of hazardous factors or burdensome conditions occurring in the work environment, in terms of organising such tests and measurements as well as the methods of protection of employees against such factors or conditions,
  • cooperation with laboratory personnel and other units dealing with the measurements of the natural environment, operating in the national environmental monitoring system, as specified in separate regulations,
  • cooperation with a doctor performing preventive medical services for the employees, in particular in preparing and updating occupational risk assessments and in organising routine medical check-ups for employees,
  • storing and updating the occupational risk assessment documentation,
  • participating in investigation of circumstances and causes of accidents on the way to or from work,
  • participating in investigation of circumstances and causes of accidents of students and trainees,
  • keeping registers, completing and storing documents concerning accidents at work, diagnosed and suspected occupational diseases, as well as results of analyses and measurements of hazardous factors in the work environment,
  • evaluating detailed instructions concerning the occupational safety and health for individual workstations,
  • providing information on any violation of the OHS rules and regulations and applying for penalties for employees responsible for such violations,
  • cooperation with units organising instructions and training in equipment operation,
  • supervising particularly hazardous works, preparing and updating the list of particularly hazardous works performed at the plant,
  • ensuring appropriate implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 26 September 1997 on general provisions of occupational safety and health as well as other valid regulations concerning occupational safety and health,
  • preparing and providing, informing the employees and keeping the documentation related with all activities performed,
  • cooperating with the Personnel Representative in form and in the scope specified in separate regulations,
  • proper cooperation with the Fire Service and the Infrastructure and Environmental Protection Department,
  • other tasks assigned by the employer, related with the organisation of work according to the OHS rules and regulations,
  • supervision of occupational safety and health of the entire personnel employed by different employers in the same place – the Barry Callebaut SSC facility, including the inspection of safety of works performed by construction, service, cleaning and security companies.

Education

higher education, field of studies related to OHS, or postgraduate studies in OHS

Experience (type)

at least 3 yeast of practical experience in the OHS services

Knowledge or specific business understanding

Knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health

Good communication skills

Problem solving skills

Computer skills, practical use of MS Office
